Personality
You definately wouldn't call him quiet nor would you call him an absolute idiot. He is a typical stallion, his way or the highway. Sure in the mornings if your late for his work out he's gonna drag you to the railing to be tacked up. Or if your late to give him his feed he is going to let you know about, quite possibly before you even open the door you'll hear him making a scene. On foot he is usually quite well behaved, a tad head strong but there is nothing agressive in him. He likes his food although doesn't eat a truck load. Territorial? not unless there is a mare in season.
Crescendo's most favoured type of racing is usually short and fast. He's a natural sprinter and was trained in this way although i have trained him to race over longer distances as sprinting races were not too common. He is an energetic boy and rarely will drag his hooves. He will treat you to a head up high, picking up his hooves, nostrils flaring and an elegant dance when you hit the race track. He means business and putting a jockey on him who isn't 100% alert could find himself on the ground if they can't keep up with his energy. He's highly competitive and hates another horse being in front of him. But he is smart! i'll give him that much. He has an uncanny ability to stare down an opponent so it seems. He isn't really trail material although he is a lot quieter when he is being ridden of the track but once he hits that turf you'd better have your game on. Although he is getting older and no longer in his prime, he will definately give you a run for your money.
He is relatively patient around other horses. He can be placed in a paddock with stallions [ Minus Cobalt ] and colts but if he gets pushed too far he will definately let the other horse know he's had enough.
Success
I find it quite difficult to quite measure the level of Crescendo's success.
These are just a few of this achievements over the past years. Please do take into account that he has not raced due to my inactivity for a good few years. So this is all from SS.
